Testing and verification is a vital function at CPAC considering our product range och integrated safety critical systems for vehicles. Testing at CPAC will put you in contact with all parts of the company and all technologies. Responsibilities

You will be part of the test and verification team with focus on test development. As a test engineer, you will participate in activities such as test and verification planning, test specifications, test execution and automated test development. To deliver products on time and with high quality, tight collaboration is needed within and between our project teams. You will also be responsible for enhancing CPAC’s knowledge and work methods within your area of expertise.

Required skills

We recruit for attitude and train for skills. For this position we see that you have a few years of experience as a test or development engineer with knowledge of using and developing test methods and tools. It is your passion for technology and your curiosity that makes it hard for you to stay away from continuously working hands-on with the latest development within test and verification.

You are a team player with strong personal commitment and a will to share responsibilities. You constantly challenge assumptions and strive to improve everything you do. You have the courage to respectfully disagree and are prepared to back your position with evidence. Your educational background is most likely a Master or Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar. You have no trouble working in both Swedish and English environments.

Desired skills

As a test engineer we value previous experience of manual and automated test execution, capability to define test specifications and test cases. A general understanding of the product development process, high work capacity and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize your own activities are also meriting.

We use a lot of familiar tools and techniques such as CANalyzer, PCAN, J1587Nav and LabView. Having worked with communication protocols (e.g. J1587, CAN/J1939) or development standards such as ISO14229, ISO 26262 is meriting. So is also experience from other areas such as TEA2+, ISTQB/SSTB certification and SPICE process evaluation methods. Knowledge of these is an advantage but if you’re an engineer and smart, we expect you to be able to continuously learn new tools and techniques.
